If there’s one thing that has shaped my whole life, it’s animals — the furry, the whiskered, the fluffy, the goofy, and every lovable little creature in between. Dogs, cats, hamsters, chinchillas, guinea pigs… and yes, even those mischievous little mice. I’ve loved them all. Honestly, I think they rescued me just as often as I rescued them.

Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from horses and cattle to “pocket pets” that fit right in your palm. But two special souls stole my heart: my travel buddies, Houston and Squirt. For eight amazing years, we wandered across the western United States together — three explorers in a car that was always full of snacks, cat hair, and stories.

Houston, my handsome all–black boy, had the swagger of a tiny panther. Squirt, my sassy domestic shorthair, had the attitude of a queen in a fur coat. They saw deserts turning gold at sunset, mountains dusted in snow, forests whispering in the wind… and they loved every minute of it.

Squirt blessed me with 20 wonderful years. Houston left far too soon after a battle with kidney cancer — but the size of the pawprints they left on my heart could fill the whole country we traveled.

And now… here I am, opening a new chapter: NonaLee’s Pet Boutique.

This little shop is my love letter to all the animals who’ve been part of my journey. It’s filled with unique treasures, everyday essentials, fun surprises, and goodies chosen with care — because our pets deserve the VERY best. Items are priced for every budget, because caring for a pet shouldn’t break the bank.

New products arrive every week (I can’t help myself — I love finding cute things!). And if you want something special, something hard to find, or something that just feels right for your furry friend, tell me. I’ll happily hunt it down for you.
